Founded in 2003, Sunbird Yacht Co., Ltd. is a listed company engaged in design, research and development, manufacture, sales and service of high performance composite and Steel-FRP boats and yachts, providing a full range of personalized solutions to clients from plan design, manufacture to maintenance service. With registered capital of about 22 million USD, we have three factories separated in Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, and Foshan City, also Guangdong Province, plus five branches respectively oriented in yacht design and sales at home and abroad. Five branches are Changsha Sunbird Yacht, Shanghai Rimbaud Bay Yacht, Hong Kong Plandy Yacht, U.S.A. Plandy Yacht and Italy Marco Polo Yacht. It covers 425,000 square meters in total, wherein 310,000 square meters in Yuanjiang, the head-quarter, 85,000 square meters in Zhuhai, and 30,000 square meters in Foshan. Thanks to the 1800 employees including 300 R&D technicians and designers with about 200 sets of imported ship models, molding machines and composite material testing machines, Sunbird is able to build 1000 boats per year and is the record holder in China with more than ten thousand boats sold locally and abroad in 18 countries and regions. In September 2010, Sunbird yacht successfully got GEM A-share. In May 2011, Sunbird became Famous Trademark of China and the first national yacht postdoctoral workstation was established at Sunbird in February 2012.
