China has become the world's second largest cruise market

2017 Seatrade Asia Pacific cruise conference issued the "2017 China Cruise Industry Development Report (cruise green paper)" pointed out that China has surpassed Germany in the world's second largest cruise market.  In 2016 the total number of cruise outbound tourists reached 2.1 million.

Baoshan has become Shanghai's most important water portal and the international passenger port. It is located in Asia's largest cruise home port. In 2016, Wusong International Cruise Port continue to maintain the first in Asia, and become the world's fourth cruise home port.

A total investment of about 800 million yuan of Wusong international cruise follow-up project was launched in 2015.

               

During 13th Five-Year， Wusong international cruise port will become a national standardized service demonstration unit and the international health harbor and strive to establish a global influential world-class cruise home port. Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. (SWS) plans to deliver the first domestic large luxury cruise in 2023, the drainage capacity of 133500 tons.
