Analysis report on the unmanned ship industry in China 2017

Intelligentization has always been the trend of the development of the ships. In recent years, with the rapid development of new concepts and technologies such as Internet of things, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and so on, the  level of ship automation manufacturing  has been improving.

At present, there are 2 institutes engage in unmanned ships research and manufacturing. The first Marine Research Institute of the State Oceanic Administration has built 2 unmanned ships successfully. The research institution has undertaken  the National Natural Science Foundation and the marine public welfare project. Nearly 20 dissertations have been published, and 3 patents have been applied.

Zhuhai Yun Chau has  developed the first global unmanned ECO ship successfully, It set technical standards for the first unmanned ship. It will help to speed up domestic unmanned ship technology.
